This is a sermon I gave at Community Bible Church in Wyanete, IL on the Sunday after Thanksgiving last year. The sermon is on James 1:1-18. The big idea is we need to overcome fear in our trade, in dealing with trials and in handling temptation.

I was a bit late on getting this out due to being on the road a lot, including being at the last retreat with my Core Group (guy’s Bible study). The last song was written especially for the Wheaton Bible Church, Student Body Winter Retreat. The theme of the retreat was Illuminate and the song by Josh Tullis is “Light of the World.” I know he has a CD out, but all I could find was his MySpace. So if you dig “Light of the World”, hunt him down.
